2014 USTA Conference

  • Attend the conferences as a Non-Member. Register for USTA to save $40.
  • Registration is discounted for current students, student teachers, and teachers new to USTA in their first year of teaching.
  • This event registration allows registered USTA vendors access to one 3' x 8' table at the USTA Conference and one paid lunch. The vendor tables are located in and around the 400+ attendees as they travel from session to session throughout the conference. If more than one table is desired, sign up for multiple registrations which will also entitle you to another lunch at the conference.
    NOTE - There is an additional $65 charge from the venue if vendors desire electricity for their booth.

The 2014 Annual USTA Conference is an wonderful opportunity for professional development, lesson plan ideas, networking, and inspiration, and so much more.

This year our keynote speaker will be Derek Muller, PhD who has focused his research on science education specifically through videos.  He runs the YouTube channel Veritasium, a free resource for teachers to learn and teach about science concepts and misconceptions.

There will be 11 different themed strands throughout the day and 5 different breakout session for each to help you with your teaching curriculum with ideas, demos, lessons, etc.

We hope you can join us for a great day that will help you and your students better appreciate science and science education.

Remember, after the conference from 6:00 pm - 8:30pm at the Utah Valley Conference Center is the USTA Awards Banquet.  Come join us as for a delicious meal as hear the work from inspiring educators from around the state.  Tickets are only $15 and guests are welcome.
