This course will introduce you to the basics of evolution learning about natural selection, speciation, adaptations, evidences and classification. Evolution is the foundation of biology and the unifying concept that ties all living things together. In this class you will also define the difference between science and religion to help you as a teacher know how to respond to the questions and concerns that students have about evolution.
This Online Endorsement Course meets the Utah State Science Endorsement Course Requirements for:
This course is a content and NGSS pedagogy course. Emphasis is on best practices used to teach this content in your classroom. Creating lesson plans are required.
